Our Story
The idea for this store was born out of a quiet, deeply personal realization during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the world shut down, human contact became scarce. Even when restrictions were lifted, something had quietly changed—many of us didn’t go back to life as we knew it. Remote work became the norm. Social gatherings became fewer. Conversations grew shorter. And loneliness—once occasional—became a constant companion.
It all started with two of us—one a remote-working tech professional, the other a Ph.D. student in engineering. We were both spending long hours at home, often in silence, often alone. Despite busy schedules, we found ourselves missing something intangible: emotional presence, warmth, companionship. That’s when the idea came to us—what if a lifelike, beautifully crafted doll could offer more than just physical form? What if it could bring emotional comfort, even inspiration?
As we talked to others, we realized we weren’t alone. What began as a personal experiment slowly became a shared mission. Today, our small team—designers, storytellers, makers—share one belief: that in a world of increasing disconnection, we can still create something that speaks to the heart.
